In order to allow users to make phone calls over IP transparently, through their regular phone lines, PLANET announce the Internet Telephony Gateway - VIP-000. The VIP-000 is composed of telephone interface boards, IP network interface boards and DSP resource boards, as well as ' vocoder' software, H.323 protocol stacks, an application programming interface (API) and software applications such as Gatekeeper and billing systems.

Base on the proven technology for Voice CODEC and compression, your voice over the Internet was came true via PLANET’s VIP-000, the 4/8-port modular Internet Telephony Gateway. Target on the SOHO users, however, the new ITG now should meet the requirement of budget-constrained users sharing this benefit.

Equipped with two FXS interface, the VIP-200 give the connectivity to two phone-lines either to phone-set, fax machine or your local PBX (out-line).

And more, equipped with two FXS interfaces and two FXO interfaces, the VIP-400 offer the combination of two direct phone-lines to either phone-set or fax machine, and two channels to your PBX system or local PSTN. While VIP-000 support two expansion slots for choice of FXO or FXS modules to optimize your installation

The H.323 compatibility helps the VIP-gateway cooperate with any popular H.323 applications or gateways in the marketing like Windows NetMeetings, WebPhone, etc. While ITU G.711/G.723, G.729 also helps it to compatible with the world-famous Internet Telephony System like Cisco, RADVision, etc.

Furthermore, do not need a pro for this system. The VIP-200/400 and VIP-000 also supports both Web and Console/Telnet management; this should ease the setup and your management.

The telephones can directly connect to the VIP-200/400 or VIP-000. Direct Internet telephone calls can be made.

Pick up your phone and click the branch numbers, you are then free to talk with branch offices or any H.323 Gateway via the Internet

App2. Internal, external phone call from Headquarters (HQ) to Branches, or multiple point calls via the Internet

2 or up to 8 extension-lines in a PBX can directly connect to the VIP-400/VIP-000 (HQ). Then all the extension phones in your HQ can have an Internet call to branches through those extension lines.
