Transceiver & RepeaterPlanet Ethernet transceiver support all of transceiver MAU (Medium Transition Unit) functions as specified by the Ethernet standard IEEE802.3. The Ethernet repeater joins the network segment together to extend the reach of the network. The repeater regenerates signal, permits data to travel from one segment to another, and thus results an increase of cable length coverage.
