This system is a hybrid system,
i.e. it can operate in PABX mode or key system mode. It has a non-blocking
digital switching network.
Four different models are proposed for
varying system capacities :
- model S
- model M
- model L
- model SL
Each model consists of a wall box which
contains :
- trunk line circuits
- extension line circuits (proprietary or analog stations)
- data communication line circuits
This unit is designed to operate in an
office environment.

The system consists of printed
circuit boards plugged into a backplane which provides the connections
between various boards. The backplane contains specifically-assigned slots
and general-purpose slots.
The assigned slots are designed to
accomodate :
- the central processing unit card, which comprises :
- the microprocessor
- the memories
- the digital switching
matrix
- the DMTF receivers
- the DMTF frequency,
tone and ringing signal generators
- the time base, the date
and time module
Optionally, it can accommodate
two daughter cards :
- a 32s digital music
on-hold card,
- a card carrying the
backup memory functions and two V24 outputs (RS-232-C)
- the analog option card, which comprises
- the additional
conference circuits
- the trunk call music on
hold circuits
- the trunk call
background music circuits
- additional DMTF
receivers,
and you can
accommodate 2 daughter cards :
- general paging (GP)
- DISA
- the mains power supply unit
