This
type of equipment is approved by the Ministry of Communications and
thousands sets of this type are spread in different institutions throughout
the country: Government, Presidency, Parliament, Army, Secret Services,
Police, Banking institutions, Romanian and foreign companies, sports
clubs, etc.
Due to its flexibility and facility in exploitation, the system can
be installed both in unitary configuration for a group with maximum
8 users that are using 3 external lines, and distributed configuration
with manager-secretary groups or an assistant with more than one manager.
In the unitary configuration, the system offers the ideal communication
facilities.
The
innovative concept is pointed out by the use only of the ALCATEL 5101
QUARK sets and not of a central unit with the corresponding sets.
This
brings the following advantages:
-
Safe exploitation: in the case of power failure, another type of equipment
(with central unit) is out of work. With the ALCATEL QUARK system, each
set is independently powered, and under power failure situation it may
work as a normal on the selected external line.
-
reduced cabling costs, only one 4 pairs cable is used to connect all
the sets
-
versatility: sets can be interchanged
- rapidity, efficiency and easy to exploit: any function can be accessed
by simply pressing a key, .
- information: each user is informed in real time about the state of
the lines..
